Iheanacho has struggled for game time under Pep Guardiola this season, starting just one game for Manchester City since the turn of the year.
And according to Sky Sports, West Ham have approached City about signing the young Nigeria international this summer.
City are said to value Iheanacho at around £20million, with Premier League duo Leicester and Everton also said to have shown firm interest in the 20-year-old striker.
Iheanacho has mostly played second fiddle to City hitman Sergio Aguero since making his senior debut for the club in 2015.
West Ham have already agreed to sign Pablo Zabaleta on a free transfer
But Iheanacho fell further down the pecking order following Gabriel Jesus’ £27m arrival in January, and he is not thought to be in Guardiola’s long-term plans.
The Hammers have also been linked with Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi as Slaven Bilic looks to add more firepower to his squad.
Iheanacho recently dismissed any talk of an impending Etihad exit, telling reporters: “I’m not very aware of that.
